When someone dies at The Bardo, we tend a fire and/or keep a candle burning for the 24 hours following their death.

This quiet practice honors the transition, offering a steady presence for our guests, their loved ones, and those keeping vigil.

A donation of dry firewood or pillar candles directly supports this sacred tradition of fire keeping.
