The Cocoon: 
Community, Comfort & Care

Life and loss can be hard. If you or someone close to you has received a diagnosis, lost a loved one or are caring for a dying relative or friend, you’re coping with A LOT. But you don’t need to carry it alone. Come to The Cocoon and be cared for.

 

The Cocoon is The Bardo’s special membership program offering respite and support for those facing grief and loss. Three days a week, The Bardo’s extensive resources and amenities are fully dedicated to those seeking relief and healing. On Sundays, Mondays and Thursday evenings, Cocoon members receive open access to our dedicated staff and focused programming including:

 

  • group grief circles

  • 1:1 pastoral care counsel

  • yin yoga

  • qi gong

  • grief tea ceremonies

  • healing plant walks

  • guided sheep walks

  • grief and loss mandala making

  • grief sauna sessions

  • and more

 

The trails will be open for reflection, the animals and land will be offering their comfort and counsel, and our many cozy spaces will be available for quiet contemplation or heartfelt sharing.

 

You decide the kind of support you need and the tools that resonate with you most. You choose how often you want to visit. One monthly price includes it all.

    • unlimited visits for 1 person (non-transferable)
    • $200 a month, includes 3 guest passes
    • $2,400 a year, includes 12 guest passes
    • scholarships available

    Valid for 12 months
    • unlimited visits for you + a partner, relative or friend
    • $300 a month
    • $3,600 a year

    400$
    Every month
    The Cocoon is The Bardo’s special membership program offering respite and support for those facing grief and loss.
    Valid for 12 months
    • unlimited visits for you & your kids, siblings or grandparen
    • $400 for a month

9 - 11 am                      Guided sheep walks

Self-guided trail walks & journaling

Farm chores:  fill hay bags, tend the trails, clear the pasture, etc.

 

11 am - 12 pm              Grief tea ceremony

 

12 - 12:30 pm               Light lunch / “potluck”

12:30 - 2 pm                Community grief group led by Jody

2 - 4 pm                      Healing plant walk with an herbalist

Grief sauna sessions

Self-guided trail walks & journaling

Farm chores:  fill hay bags, tend the trails, clear the pasture

 

4 - 5 pm                       Yin yoga or Qi gong

 

 

THURS PM            IMMERSIVE THURSDAYS

2 - 5 pm                       Meet the horses

Self-guided trail walks & journaling

Farm chores:  fill hay bags, tend the trails,
clear the pasture, etc.

 

5 - 6 pm                       Yin yoga or grief tea ceremony

 

6 - 7:30 pm                 Grief group (& soup) led by Jody

 

7:30 - 9 pm                 Fireside circle
