About the event

A terminal diagnosis is often accompanied by a host of challenges: a loss of autonomy, severe physical pain, and deep spiritual and existential questioning–all of which can erode one’s sense of self and hope. Dignity therapy is a practical therapeutic tool that supports those struggling with end-stage illness. This group experience will help you find meaning and regain a sense of self-worth and self-respect, regardless of your diagnosis, through storytelling. While this experience will happen in a group setting, the story itself is yours to craft, own and hold. Allow this space to support you as you are guided in writing your own legacy story, to share with others or to keep to yourself.
